I came across this quote while preparing for a keynote presentation I delivered in Toronto last fall on innovative employee engagement strategies. Thomas J. Watson Jr. was the former president of IBM, his quote was from the 1950s, which is insightful now in 2015 given the great number of people who are disengaged in their workplace.
